Summary: Good little mat
Comment: This mat is about what I expected. It's fit/finish isn't uniform and some of the mats are a little bit different thickness, so don't expect a gym quality fit. But, they work great at home for what i'm doing and the cusion level is pefect for me. I even ordered a few more boxes to expand the size.

Summary: Strong smell takes quite a while to go away, but works well
Comment: I bought these to use as a soft flooring for exercising - for the footbed of an exercise machine, so you can use it barefoot. It works well for the purpose since it is dense and sturdy foam. But, it took over a week for the chemical smell to go away. Very strong and unpleasant. So, plan to air them out before use.
note that these come with edge strips, but not enough to surround the whole area. You can cut off the puzzle ends if you need though.

Summary: Fantastic mat for toddlers and babies ...

After going through numerous products that are sold for kids and babies but for ten times the price, I stumbled across these mats and purchased six sets of them which set me back only about seventy-five bucks. They do cover the area advertised, unlike others that only provide four mats.
While a lot of the different color mats, which have letters in them, are hard or near impossible to clean, (as the letters constantly rise up while scrubbing juice, milk and slobber off of) these wipe up very nicely and stay interlocked rather well.
With all these types of mats the three big issues with all of these products are:
1. The Price
2. Their ability to clean
3. Staying interlocked after playing on
Many of these mats will quickly separate or travel across your rugs or from one part of the room to another. These handle all these problems better than most and blend well into any room being black instead of multi-colored, which again -- makes them easier to clean. It's hard to clean it when it's obscured by a patchwork of colors.
I have hardwood and tiled floor in my house and they are also soft enough for baby when he tumbles around on or bumps his head. He just gets back up and keep on going, unphased.
This is a good product to purchase if you are baby-proofing your home and you want to do it right instead of wasting large amounts of money on sub-standard junk.
Also, the fact that they have a diamond-inlayed embossed print makes them good for little feet that need to grip.
