Its perfect for the price and with a decent bicycle, I get a lot out of the time that I put in. It is relatively quiet but I recommend having a good pair of headphones that are sweat-proof if you plan on listening to talk radio or something that requires close attention, as the vacuum-esque sound is a little distracting.
