Comment: I think this wrap is well designed for comfort. It does not cause immediate discomfort even without socks. The wrap is much thicker than my ankle because I am slim (140lbs). I didn't expect it to fit like a sock so I am not disappointed. It was a good buy.

Comment: just received these weights two days ago. super fast shipping. i love them. they help me with my leg exercises and i can actually feel and see the difference in my thighs and calves. also good for the abs when doing leg ups. you can feel the abs contracting each time. i do about 15 minutes of leg ups and these ankle weights are just excellent. i am medium build and i have no problem with these weights on my ankles. excellent resistance. now i don't have to go to the gym to workout. thanks to Amazon, i have my own gym right at home and will continue to buy from this store. THANKS.

Comment: These weights are definitely made for men (I hope that there aren't any women with ankles bigger than mine!!). I know that I am of slender build, but these weights wrap all the way around until the spiky Velcro attaches itself to the "wet suit" material. This makes the soft Velcro part useless. So unless you have ankles that are the size of a large horse I would look elsewhere. Although with them strapped up tight they do their job!
