Summary: No frills, but works well
Comment: I have been having a lot of trouble with various dumbbell curls ever since I got my weight up a bit. I found myself recruiting my shoulders way too much in the movement; if my shoulders were tired, my curl weight would go down. My progress on dumbbell curls had stalled, even though I was continuing to lift more and more on the preacher bench. I looked into these types of devices based on what I've read from Arnold, he is a big beleiver in these, and he has great arms, so I made the purchase.

This devices does what it says it does, and nothing more. It is not going to give you giant arms in two weeks. It isolates your biceps and allows you to execute curls with excellent form. In the first week of using it, my curl weight actually dropped a bit, because I was no longer bringing my deltoids into the motion. Now, I am back to my previous "cheating weight", which means that my weight is starting to go up again. I look forwards to breaking the barrier that I had hit.

Another sign of the effectiveness of the device, is that I am now getting a decent pump in my biceps on my third set. I used to get nearly zero pump on my dumbbell exercises, it wouldn't arrive until I did my preacher curls. Now I am getting it on the first routine for my biceps.

This product is very no frills. As others have said, it comes with no directions and the neck pad is merely a thin slip of foam. That being said, it is not heavy and it does not put any pressure on my neck, so I don't care about the neck pad. One thing that I don't like, is that due to the length of my arms compared to the length of my torso, this sits on my abs, not my chest. That puts a lot of pressure on my lower stomach which is not comfortable, but this is a result of my particular proportions, not a design flaw of the device.

If you are having trouble doing bicep exercises with the proper form and isolation, I highly recommend this product.

Comment: This is not the "original" arm blaster during the heydey of Joe Weider but it's close enough and it does the job.

Summary: Arm Blaster
Comment: The Ironman arm blaster functions well. It holds my arms in place making curls a lot more effective. I felt the difference after one workout. It is inexpensive for a reason. The quality of the device is average. It has a cheap foam neck pad that slides on the strap. You also need to place the dangling end of the strap (where you adjust the length) through the neck pad to keep it out of the way. It could be a little longer and have a deeper body recess for added comfort. It doesn't bother me too much but larger people (more than 40 inch chest) would probably do better with a bigger version. Before you buy one try them out at your local sports store to see which one works/fits best.
