Summary: Incentive to Chin Up
Comment: The Everlast Chin Up bar is great, because it's easy to install, and, if you put in a frequently used doorway, it provides no excuse for not doing your daily chin ups. The problem I've had with other bars I've used for chin ups is that they've been out of sight and out of mind. In addition to standard exercises, I use a carabiener to hang my heavy bag from it.

Summary: good bar, bad foam grip setup
Comment: Firstly, I must reiterate that you NEED to screw in the mounting-cups for this bar to hold you. Those that complain that this bar is not sturdy have most likely not installed the unit properly.
Once properly installed, this is a good, solid chin-up bar.
My biggest source of disappointment is the foam grip. It is only on one side of the bar. The manual says that the user should simply push the foam grip over to the center. Well, it is practically impossible. I have tried several times, I don't see how one can do it. I managed to tear the foam grip in my efforts.
The bar still does its job perfectly, even without the foam grip.
Bottom line - if you want a solid and affordable bar, get this. If you care about the foam grip - shop around for a different product.

Summary: Pretty good chin-up bar
Comment: I like this chin-up bar. It is sturdy and comes with multiple brackets so you can set it at a couple of different levels. The only issue I have with it is that it is a bit too narrow to do actual pull ups.

Comment: This pull-up bar does exactly what you would expect from a pull-up bar, it allows you to do pull-ups. One nice thing about the design of this bar is the way that it fits into the wall brackets.
Since it "screws" into the brackets, instead of being placed on the brackets, it allows you to do some more intense pull-ups, this is especially useful if you do Crossfit, for instance.

Comment: This is a great product! Very, very sturdy and it took me 10 minutes to install. I never doubted this product because of the everlast name too, so you know you are getting a quality chin-up bar. I refer this product to anyone that is looking for another addition to their gym products, with the comfort of not having to leave your home.
