Summary: Favorite ankle weights
Comment: I prefer these to any of the other ankle weights I've owned. The prior weights I've owned all had sand, and all ended up leaking and messing up the house getting me in hot water with the spouse. They are good for weight training/injury rehab and are comfortable enough. I don't think I would want to run in them though.

Summary: You get what you pay for
Comment: The last thing I wanted to do was pay $30 for ankle weights and I knew there are cheaper versions of ankle weights but you get what you pay for. The metal weights in the Everlast model are easily removable and it's comfortable no matter how many bars are attached.

I'm currently using these ankle weights to rehab my knee back from ACL reconstruction surgery. Each week I increase the weights (up to 5 lbs) max. These Everlast weights are more comfortable than the ankle weights I use when I'm with my physical therapist. Well worth the investment.
