Customer Rating: Summary: I Love Dynamax Comment: I've used a lot of medicine balls for various activities, and I have to say, the Dynamax balls are some of the most versatile, well-constructed, and fun medicine balls to exercise with. They are tough, and put up with plenty of abuse, and while the center of mass isn't quite in the center, it doesn't move around while you're using the ball.
It's important to note a couple of things about Dynamax Balls (at least the ones I've used):
- They are soft.
- They are larger in diameter than standard medicine balls.
These properties make them absolutely wonderful for partner exercises, playing "catch", using them as measures of squat depth, throwing in the air and catching, etc, etc. I've even seen them used to help teach muscle memory and proper form for cleans and weighted squats.
I'm quite into fitness, and I LOVE Dynamax. I plan on buying several more in various weights.
Customer Rating: Summary: Most Used of All Comment: I have six Dynamax medicine balls. I use them for throwing, slamming, thigh kicks, and mule kicks and they have all held up well. In fact I find that for doing slams they survive the best of any I have used. I have found the 4, 6, 8 and 10 pound balls to be the most useful to me when teaching. With over a year of daily abuse I have yet to have one of these balls fall apart. The only modification I made to the balls was to glue a piece of leather over the main stitching and I cut off the carrying loops. The balls soften up with use and become even more of joy to use. I find that I use the Dynamax more than any of my other medicine balls.
Customer Rating: Summary: Dynamax Med Ball Comment: I have the 20lb model which amazon unfortunately no longer sells. Dynamax medicine balls are durable, better made than most and work for almost everything that medicine balls can be used for save one. If I could use this for slams it would be a five star product.
